Our magnificent mountain Savory Essential Oil sparkles in the wintery Alpine sunshine. It is an energy-boosting elixir assisting those that need an inspiring lift.

The ancient Romans used Savory with vinegar as a digestif. They cultivated the plant throughout their empire, which eventually led to the herb's esteem throughout Europe and, in time, North America. The English began using Savory to flavor meats and preserves, while the French preferred its herby bouquet in rich stews and soups. In the United States, early colonists used Savory in place of pepper.

Spiritually speaking, Savory Essential Oil is related to releasing resistance. It can be used to help release our perceived sense of control over conditions, both over ourselves and over others, and allow the universe to take its place in the driver's seat of our lives.

"Here's flowers for you:
Hot lavender, mints, savoury, marjoram;
The marigold, that goes to bed wi' the sun

and with him rises, weeping."
~ William Shakespeare

"The savory is a shrubby perennial with lance-shaped leaves and clusters of white-pink flowers. The species name comes from the Latin montana, meaning that it grows wild in the mountains. Like summer savory, the entire plant is steam-distilled to produce a colorless pale or yellow oil. This savory has a sharp, herbaceous and appetizing scent."
