Clove trees are long-lived and produce buds that have kept mouths smelling sweet and fresh since antiquity. These buds have also been simmered for their wafting aromas, stuck in orange pomanders to keep clothes from moths, infused into teas, preserved food, and been chewed to maintain mouths.
Clove Bud Essential Oil has a unique constituent called eugenol, which gives the oil its piquant potency. With its warming, spicy fragrance, it brings a flavorful, aromatic, and energizing boost to any blend. This botanicalbiotic has QSI properties and has an impressive range of action making it a staple of pantries and aromatherapy apothecaries for centuries.
