EPIPHANY ELIXIR: THE MEDITATIVE MUSE

This concentrated consecrating chrism combines Frankincense, Myrrh, Rose Otto, and Lemon into an anointing elixir that is the essence of spiritual sustenance. The inspiration of this formulation is the sacred gifts presented to Christ and the ceremonial unguents of antiquity, creating a Biblical blend that celebrates Epiphany and fosters meditative moments upon inhalation. Expand your intuitive portals of perception in the mind’s reception with this clarifying chrism. The Epiphany Elixir is a meditative muse to anoint upon the brow chakra, nose, chest, and tongue. Voyage to your inner cosmos and tap into the source of your own epiphanies as you revel in the elements of botanical intelligence.

The Gallant Gift of Frankincense (Boswellia carterii): The quintessential essence for cultivating reverence is Frankincense. Liquid pearls from the tree of life, Frankincense is famed as the sacred gift of the Magi to the Christ child. This fine, fragrant oil nestles the nerves and deepens the breath during meditation. Holding the wisdom of the ages, it is here to facilitate communion with the cosmos and marinate in the meditation of inquiry.
The Mystical Medicine of Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha): Munificent Myrrh essence contains the same otherworldly aroma and healing hope that heralded the forces of ancient civilizations. This deep fragrance resonates with the wound healer, enabling the letting go of the need to battle and ushering in acceptance. The resin was sacred in biblical times, symbolizing purity and was a superlative salve for consecration as it is steeped in deep dermal restorative benefits.
The Heart’s Halo Rose Otto (Rosa damascena): Resplendent Rose is one of the first aromatic oils to be distilled in antiquity, prized by the Persians, Romans, Egyptians, and Greeks long before modernity. The scent of rose otto was likened to be “the fragrant wake from the flutter of angels’ wings.” A healing skin substance and the heart-harmonizing bloom of perfume, thought to be the queen of all floral fragrances, Rose oil encourages heart-expansion, elevates the spirit, and clarifies confidence, fulfilling its sacred role as the highest vibrational essence. Current research confirms that continuous inhalation over the course of one month increases gray matter volume in brain regions linked to memory and cognition (the PCC), demonstrating a unique pathway for neurogenesis and the potential to deter atrophy. Historically, this neuro-regenerative action was felt in the emotional body: The 17th-century physician Nikolas Culpeper wrote that Rose Otto "helps strengthen the heart—physically and emotionally." The oil’s high concentration of fragrant floral alcohols acts as a potent tonic for the circulatory system, easing emotional heartache and fulfilling its sacred role as the sublime essential oil for the heart chakra.
The Luminating Liniment of Lemon (Citrus limon): Lovely, lively Lemon essence is a revitalizing elixir. While Lemon itself is a modern term for the fruit, the Citron (Citrus medica)—a closely related ancestral citrus—is the "fruit of a goodly tree" referenced in scripture. Extracted from the rinds of thousands of peels, Lemon clarifies perspectives through upliftment and focus. Its fragrance fosters the purity for meditative clarity.
