THE FRAGRANT FLORAL FANTASIA

Jasmine Julep is a symphony of sensual florals that percolates with sunny citrus cues. Jasmine Sambac's sultry, honeyed sepals swirl with Ylang's passion-filled petals, while the sunburst buoyancy of Blood Orange and Bergamot bring a blithesome brilliance to this sublime scent. As the scent dries down, Jasmine's mesmerizing amberous ambrosia lingers, weaving an aromatic aura of floral joy. Spritz on this Jasmine-scented song and let jubilance blossom with every inhale.

How does it smell? It smells like a garden in full bloom, emitting a sunny-floral scent to swoon. In classical perfume categorization, Jasmine Julep is a hesperidic-floral fragrance, a type of citrus-floral accord. Hesperidic takes its name from the Greek myth of the Hesperides groves of mythical "golden apples," which were highly aromatic citrus fruits. Jasmine Julep lifts the deeply indolic, honeyed warmth of Jasmine Sambac into pure solar radiance by suspending it in a sparkling splash of Italian Bergamot and Blood Orange. Ylang Ylang further aerates the heart of this perfume, alchemizing a sultry white bloom into a bright, effervescent elixir.

"The heavy scent of the lilac was in the air, and the higher perfume of the pink-flowering thorn; and down at the end of the orchard there was a jasmine in full bloom, whose sweet-scented stars seemed to tremble in the golden afternoon." — Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray

"The night was thick with the scent of jasmine. It was a perfume so heavy that it seemed to have a shape and weight, drifting through the open window like a physical presence." — Jean Giono, The Horseman on the Roof

ORGANIC INGREDIENTS

Jasmine Sambac — Jasminum sambac
Night-blooming Jasmine is the petaled pillar of classical perfumery, adored for its heady, euphoric, jammy-floral warmth. Known as "Moonlight on the Grove," Sambac blossoms unfold their fragrance under the night sky, releasing a rich concentration of natural indoles and methyl anthranilate. Rich in benzyl acetate and linalool, wild Jasmine Sambac forms the sultry, heart-opening foundation that weaves sparkling citrus and herbaceous notes into a heavenly aura.

Ylang Ylang — Cananga odorata
The "Flower of Flowers" exudes an exotic, amorous fragrance that floats on tropical breezes. Steam-distilled in the verdant lushness of Madagascar, Ylang Ylang is a cheerful floral essence that brings effervescent levity to natural perfumery. Rich in sweet esters alongside soothing sesquiterpenes like beta-caryophyllene, it exudes a euphoric heart note. Ylang’s floral aroma harmonizes heavier notes while bridging the lighter blossoms into an aura of pure bliss.

Bergamot — Citrus bergamia
Instantly recognizable as the iconic aroma of Earl Grey tea, Bergamot brings a citrus, freesia-like floral nuance and fresh-fougère radiance to the fragrance. Olfactory studies confirm that Bergamot's aromatic micro-molecules actively elevate the mind and inspire cheer. Shining bright with a high concentration of linalyl acetate, linalool, and limonene, its biochemical synergy bridges the gap between sparkling citrus and floral depth, illuminating the opening melody of Jasmine Julep with a sunny invitation.

Blood Orange — Citrus sinensis
Benevolent Blood Orange provides a zesty, sunlit burst of d-limonene and antioxidant anthocyanins, delivering instant mood-lifting cheer to the opening melody. Crafted by our organic Italian distiller, its sparkling citrus notes weave through the white floral canopy, dappling Jasmine Sambac and Ylang with a juicy, citrus vibrancy that ensorcels the entire garden of this gracious perfume.

Organic Biodynamic Alcohol
The ultimate, pristine carrier for our pure perfumes and colognes. Produced from certified organic grapes, it is independently tested to ensure it meets the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) standards for pure, organic, pharmaceutical-grade alcohol.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where does Jasmine Julep sit within classical perfumery families?
Jasmine Julep is classified as a hesperidic-floral fragrance, commonly known as a citrus-floral accord. The term "hesperidic" draws its name from Greek mythology and the Hesperides, the golden nymphs of the sunset who guarded Hera’s sacred orchard of "golden apples," the ancient world's poetic name for highly aromatic citrus fruits.

While traditional Jasmine compositions lean into nocturnal, heavier indolic profiles characteristic of classic boudoir scents, Jasmine Julep lifts the white bloom into vibrant, sunlit air. A dual-citrus splash of crisp Italian Bergamot and juicy Blood Orange aerates the honeyed warmth of Jasmine Sambac and Ylang Ylang.

What can I layer Jasmine Julep perfume with?
Pure botanical perfumes evolve dynamically on the skin, blooming cleanly without artificial fixatives or synthetic chemical extenders. To maximize longevity, apply 2 to 3 spritzes directly onto warm pulse points, nape of neck, natural fiber clothing, or hair where scent naturally clings. Layering over a rich botanical lipid base is another exceptional way to anchor volatile top notes and extend sillage. Hydrate your skin prior to spritzing by smoothing on a nourishing body oil like Vanilla or Jasmine Joy Best Skin Ever. For a seamlessly layered floral aura, pair it with Jasmine Joy or Petal Poetic Pits.
