NEROLI BEST SKIN EVER — THE BRIGHTENING, ETHEREAL ELIXIR

The liquid-illumination that initiates a dewy, dermal-revolution, Neroli Best Skin Ever is a sublime substance formulated to brighten and rejuvenate your skin to its innate, radiant state. More than a moisturizer, more than a cleanser, it is a beautiful biological restoration that renders a multi-step, synthetic routine obsolete. While its "skin-brightening" reputation is famed for the face, its brilliance extends to the entire landscape of your skin, leaving a radiant, citrus-blossom wake that clarifies as it tonifies.

Whether you are refining the appearance of spots, scars, and stretch-marks or simply seeking a fresh, lucent glow, this bottle is your sanctuary from the synthetic spin-cycle: the perpetual loop of stripping the skin's acid mantle with harsh surfactants only to "fix" the resulting dryness with petroleum-based occlusives that suffocate the microbiome. Instead, Neroli Best Skin Ever provides a resilient, breathable barrier for the skin that elevates luminance and instills tissues with Neroli’s nectarous saturation.

In this Best Skin Ever formula, we have created an ethereal "holy grail" of goodness to fortify a resilient lipid-buffer and balanced skin biome. At the heart of this elixir is wholesome Jojoba, which offers the skin a biological homecoming. As a liquid plant wax synonymous with human sebum, Jojoba mimics endogenous lipid that absorbs seamlessly to perfuse pores and dissolve oxidized debris while preserving the skin’s native microbial integrity. This synergistic process ensures the stratum corneum remains uncompromised, sealing moisture in while honoring the skin’s breathability, melding with the microbiome to create a state of dew-drenched vitality.

Within the lipid-rich sanctuary of Jojoba, enlightening essences act as activators in the formula. These essences are brimming with benefits: Neroli’s purifying linalool and alpha-terpineol to galvanize rejuvenation and refine the appearance of scars, spots, and stretch marks; Blood Orange’s lively limonene to even skin tone; and Mandarin Petitgrain’s calming esters to soothe pores and pacify reactive tissue. The formula is illuminated by a golden duo of Turmeric and Seabuckthorn; the former provides lipophilic turmerones to brighten the complexion and relax redness, while the latter delivers a replenishing Omega-7 lipid-buffer. With the sebum-balancing calibration of Carrot Seed and the hydric-balancing geraniol found in Palmarosa’s monoterpenols, this elegant elixir clarifies and tonifies, leaving the complexion firm, fresh, and beaming bright.

THE SCIENCE OF THE SEAL: WHY WASH WITH OIL

To recover the integrity of the epidermis, the first step is halting the spin-cycle of synthetic surfactants. Foaming cleansers are engineered to strip the skin, and in doing so, they devastate the protective hydro-lipid barrier—the delicate seal of moisture and beneficial bacteria that comprises the skin’s innate immunity. When this seal is microscopically breached, the skin becomes vulnerable to pathogens and environmental toxins, leading to a state of dermal dysbiosis manifested as melasma, inflammation, infection, chronic dryness, and reactive redness. To restore biological balance, we return to a botanical confluence: washing with soothing lipids that activate the principle of "like dissolves like," effectively lifting debris while replenishing the tissue with bioactive molecules.

"I was stuck in the Sephora orbit for years. Now, I wake up looking forward to washing my face." — Ally

Modern skincare routines often suppress the beauty of our symbiotic, microbe-skin system. Daily scrubbing with chemical surfactants creates a "leaky skin" effect analogous to a leaky gut. These harsh agents do more than remove surface oils; they dissolve the skin’s native ceramides and essential enzymes. This sudden depletion sends a stress signal to the sebaceous glands that overcompensate by producing an excess of unbalanced oil. Furthermore, surfactants can insert themselves into the stratum corneum like microscopic splinters—even after rinsing, chemical residue remains lodged in the tissue. This initiates a constant degradation of the skin’s "first responders," essentially leaving the front door of the dermal immune system wide open.

Our skin is in perpetual bacterial bloom, a living landscape alive with the beauty of beneficial microbes essential to the functioning of healthy tissue. This cutaneous microbiome is in constant conversation with the immune, digestive, and hormonal systems. Common labels of "dry," "oily," or "combination" skin are not permanent types, but rather symptoms of bacterial disharmony. Acne, rosacea, melasma and blackheads are often manifestations of a compromised biome. Bypassing the perpetual loop of surfactant distress nourishes the skin’s innate biological buffer, allowing the microbiome to flourish.

Seal the skin and reveal your Best Skin Ever.

"Literally the best skin ever. One thing (amongst ever so many) I've learned from Living Libations is that no matter how over the moon I am with the oils and products, just keep on experimenting and exploring still further....and wow!!! I never expected that this particular combo would have such spectacular results plus having tried most of the other BSE, I had happily settled with the Sandalwood one as a firm favourite - but this one is BEYOND, it evens out and illuminates my very fair skin better than any of the other ones and the appearance of dark circles under my eyes are virtually gone for the first time since I became aware of them some time in childhood - and it seems better then open sky eye serum. Cleanser, serum, body oil ...Nadine please produce it in a bigger bottle, I'm stockpiling it!" — Eileen

“It's one of the best products I've ever tried. It left my skin glowing, soft, and with a beautiful sweet natural scent. It is absolutely amazing what a difference it made, in how hydrated and dewy my skin felt. I was hooked immediately and feel like this is the best gift I ever gave my skin." — Elle "I feel confident! When I wear your products my Husband notices the beauty of the scents immediately and is curious about the rich aromas. I feel confident wearing your products and look forward to exploring more of what you have to offer." — Angela

SEAL + REVEAL: THE BEST SKIN EVER PROTOCOLS

If you are pivoting from a multi-step skincare routine or starting your first "Skin Reset," the method is three easy steps.

1. Prime: A small portion of a face cloth (or organic cotton round) with water.
2. Cleanse: Apply 1–2 squirts of your favorite Best Skin Ever to the dampened portion of the cloth. Massage over the face and neck. The oil binds with debris while the cloth provides a "perfect polish" exfoliation.
3. Seal: Rinsing is optional. If your skin needs more moisture, massage another squirt of BSE or a Libations Serum or Crème to further seal moisture in.

Extra Exfoliation Tip: For a deeper polish, add a pinch of baking soda, Rosemary Reset, or Perfect Pearl Powder to your oil massage. This creates a mineral-rich paste that buffs away dead cells while the lipids protect the new skin underneath.
Excellent as a Makeup Remover: Best Skin Ever is the ideal for removing all makeup—even mascara. Simply apply a squirt of oil to a damp cotton round to sweep away eye and face makeup before proceeding to the full cloth cleanse.

For the first time in years, I feel confident leaving the house without foundation makeup. My skin tone is finally even, and the melasma I thought was permanent is visibly fading." — Sara

BEST SKIN EVER BODY OIL CLEANSE
Best Skin Ever formulas sanction silky skin from head to toe, including knees and elbows. After a bath or shower, leave the body wet to damp as a little water facilitates quick emulsification. Apply a few squirts of any Best Skin Ever onto palms or a damp washcloth and glide over the entire body; as water and oil join, it provides a light exfoliation and total super-saturation. For an extra cleansing polish, add a pinch of baking soda, extra-fine sea salt, or clay to the oiled cloth. Rinse, then with wet hands, apply a final layer of Best Skin Ever and you will glow all over. Our Best Skin Evers are soothing solutions that serve the skin in so many ways:

The Reset Protocol: For 7 to 10 days, remove all synthetic surfactants, SPFs, and makeup. Only use the Best Skin Ever to cleanse and moisturize. ALL ORGANIC INGREDIENTS

Jojoba Oil - Simmondsia chinensis
Glorious, golden Jojoba quenches and conditions the skin with a molecular structure that mirrors human sebum. Differing from all other plant lipids, Jojoba oil is a liquid plant wax composed of long-chain linear esters, making it the most skin-congruent lipid in the plant kingdom. It is rich in phenolic compounds, phospholipids, and all forms of vitamin E (tocopherols) that provide a structural, breathable barrier for the skin. Jojoba has an unparalleled ability to "unplug" pores by dissolving hardened, oxidized lipids, while its native ceramide content reinforces the skin’s moisture seal to soften the texture into perfect silk. Its high concentration of eicosenoic acid ensures it resists oxidation, acting as a stable, bio-available, breathable shield that integrates seamlessly with the dermal biome.

Seabuckthorn Oil - Hippophae rhamnoides
Brilliant Seabuckthorn is a supercritical extract of the succulent berries. This shrub is heralded for its bright berries that create shiny hair and smooth skin—its botanical namesake is derived from the Greek hippos (horse) and phaos (to shine). This beautiful berry oil sends its vibrant lipids deep into the dermis, diminishing imbalances from the inside out. Each drop brims with 190 bioactive compounds, including a complete spectrum of omega fatty acids 3, 6, 7, and 9. This rare chemistry is defined by high concentrations of palmitoleic acid (Omega-7), a vital component of skin sebum that supports cellular regeneration alongside a dense array of carotenoids and phytosterols that act as biological quenchers for oxidative stress. This bright orange essence is a genuine replenisher; it clarifies the complexion by relaxing redness and paring puffiness through its placating pigments—specifically beta-carotene and lycopene—that shield and nourish living skin.

Virgin Coconut Oil - Cocos nucifera
Our pure, pristine Virgin Coconut oil satiates the skin, offering a manna of moisture and resilience. Unlike refined, fractionated oils, our raw, organic, virgin extract is rich in lauric acid, an antimicrobial medium-chain fatty acid that serves as a natural defense against blemish-causing bacteria. While industrial myths often label coconut oil as comedogenic, this stems from limited 1989 rabbit-ear assays; in human dermal application, its high stability and antibacterial profile serve to soothe atopic dermatitis and protect the moisture barrier. When formulated with quality botanicals, it smoothes the appearance of fine lines while fortifying the skin’s innate immunity.

Neroli — Citrus aurantium Nectarious
Neroli is a luminous essence, esteemed for unifying the dermal landscape by smoothing the appearance of scars, spots, and persistent marks. Steam-distilled from the ethereal blossoms of the orange tree, this purifying essence exudes linalool and alpha-terpineol to galvanize rejuvenation. These bioactive monoterpenols provide a gentle "cellular-exfoliation" that clarifies the complexion and refines skin texture. The beauty of these blossoms is their brilliance in caring for the skin, calibrating the dermal-topography to replace oxidative stagnation with a fresh, firm, and fortified glow.

Blood Orange — Citrus sinensis
Benevolent Blood Orange provides a solar-burst of limonene, a zesty monoterpene that functions as a time-tested tonic and circulatory spark. This naturally astringent oil improves the appearance of skin’s firmness and elasticity while purifying pores. Rich in anthocyanin-influenced energy, Blood Orange even-tones the complexion and resolves sluggishness, leaving both the skin and spirit in a state of vibrant buoyancy.

Mandarin Petitgrain — Citrus reticulata
Merry Mandarin Petitgrain is an ester-rich pacifier for reactive tissue. Petitgrain essences are distilled from the leaves and tiny fruits of the mandarin tree, capturing the verdant, vital-intelligence of the citrus grove. While it carries the same relaxing frequency as the fruit oil, Mandarin Petitgrain is phytochemically distinguished by high levels of neryl acetate, a calming ester that soothes the pores and quiets surface sensitivities. It acts as a botanical bridge between the tonifying citrus and the softening florals, ensuring the skin remains in a state of supple stability.

Palmarosa Oil - Cymbopogon martini
Pleasant Palmarosa is distilled from fragrant tropical grass, resulting in a formidable skin rejuvenator rich in geraniol and geranyl acetate. This monoterpenol-rich profile grants the oil a sophisticated hydro-lipidic intelligence, allowing it to act as a toning astringent that refines skin texture while maintaining a hydric balance. As a steadfast botanical "balancer," Palmarosa balances sebaceous secretions, supporting a supple, dewy equilibrium for both oily and dry complexions. Its generous geraniol content further provides the skin revitalization required to maintain a radiant tone and texture.

Carrot Seed - Daucus carota
Clarifying Carrot Seed, distilled from wild Queen Anne’s Lace, anoints the skin with replenishing grace. This "complexion choreographer" is scientifically distinguished by its high concentration of carotol and daucol, rare sesquiterpene alcohols that act as molecular messengers for the skin. These bioactive constituents communicate with the basal layers to harmonize the skin’s natural regenerative rhythm and support the appearance of textural renewal. This makes Carrot Seed a superlative "botanical vulnerary" for smoothing the architectural landscape of the skin, including fine lines, lingering marks, and persistent imbalances. As a clarifying tonic, Carrot Seed works in "pitch-perfect" ratios to balance the skin’s sebum, regardless of its starting state. It functions like living lace for the face: delicate in feel, yet incredibly strong in its ability to fortify the lipid barrier.

Turmeric — Curcuma longa
A subterranean storehouse of botanical-wisdom, Turmeric is a lipophilic elixir of root-intelligence. Differing from the culinary powder, this supercritical CO2 extract is a concentrated distillation of the plant's oil-loving bioactive molecules, capturing key lipids and aromatic volatile oils that traditional extractions leave behind. Seated at the center of its chemistry are turmerones (ar-turmerone, alpha, and beta), soothing sesquiterpenes that profoundly benefit blemish-prone and wise skin. Research highlights how these molecules transcend surface-level soothing by harmonizing the skin's biological signals, specifically quieting the "molecular noise" of pathways like COX-2 and NF-κB that can lead to irritation and stagnation. This supercritical rhizome extract acts as a bioavailability-catalyst, a master "molecular negotiator" that creates a synergistic bridge between the plant’s wisdom and the skin’s physiology. As a complexion-calibrator, it is acclaimed for its ability to smooth the look of scars, melasma, and fine lines while fortifying the skin’s microbial defense against dermatophytes. This supercritical rhizome extract is a steadfast guardian of the skin’s radiant, unified integrity.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: NEROLI BEST SKIN EVER

Can I use an oil cleanser if I have oily or blemish-prone skin?
Absolutely. This is the core of the Renegade Beauty philosophy. Unlike harsh surfactants that strip the skin and trigger a "panic response" of overactive oil production, the Jojoba in Neroli Best Skin Ever mimics your skin’s natural sebum. It works to "unplug" pores by dissolving hardened, oxidized lipids while the Citron and Turmeric provide deep-tissue purification. This process re-teaches your skin to find its own "pitch-perfect" sebaceous balance, resulting in a clear, calm, and clarified complexion.

How does Neroli help with "Glass Skin" and fading the appearance of spots, scars, and stretch marks?
Known historically as the "Princess Essence" as popularized by the 17th-century Duchess of Bracciano and Princess of Nerola, Anne Marie Orsini. Neroli, the distilled drops of orange blossoms, has been prized for centuries for its regenerative prowess. Its legendary reputation is now backed by modern science: Neroli possesses cytophylactic properties. Molecularly, the high concentrations of monoterpenes like linalool and alpha-terpineol provide a gentle, non-stripping surface-exfoliation to keep skin smooth and light-reflective, the hallmark of a dew-drenched glass-skin finish. Neroli keeps complexions bright: research into Neroli shows it can inhibit the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation. Neroli is a time-tested tonal-calibrator.

What is the "Skinimalist" oil cleansing method for application?
1. Cleanse: Wet a small area of a cloth with water. Apply 1-2 pumps of Neroli Best Skin Ever. Gently massage onto the face and neck. Use the cloth to gently sweep away debris and makeup.
2. Rinse: Use a warm, damp cloth to rinse (optional).
3. Moisturize: Apply another drop or two to your fingertips and press into the skin to seal in moisture and provide a resilient lipid-buffer.
4. Serum Step: For extra "active" benefits, you can layer a drop of a booster serum (like Soothsayer, Open Sky or Rose Glow) over the top.
