At long last, we can once again offer Traditional Sandalwood, Santalum album, from the mother of its morphogenic field, Mysore India.
For the past few decades, we have offered (and still do) superb, sustainably-sourced Sandalwood from Australia. Coveted for centuries, Sandalwood had been over-harvested and illegally poached in the modern era. Now, after years of careful cultivation, the OG of sandalwood, Traditional Sandalwood from India, is back in the saddle.
Serene and sensual Sandalwood oil is a primordial perfume material and is mentioned in Sanskrit manuscripts and recorded recipes of antiquity. Revered by royalty, highly venerated, and valued as the most noble of all aromatics, our Traditional Sandalwood Essential Oil is the opulent, fragrant manifestation of reverence.
